Ceramic artist Natasha Breen, Czech Republic

My art is an exploration of the boundaries of form and meaning, a dialogue between matter and spirit, where each piece carries a story and a sense of time.

Texture is my language. It is the memory of the material, its scars, and my imprints upon it—traces of life frozen in ceramics.

My art is not decoration; it is a dialogue. A dialogue with memory, with silence, with beauty, with pain. It is an attempt to speak to God—not with my voice, but with my hands.

Portfolio

My ceramics are more than just interior decoration; they are a living embodiment of nature and modernity. In my series "Angels of Our Time", I explore themes of loss, faith, and tragedy. These mutilated and broken figures are no longer guardians but witnesses. In their fractured wings lies the tragedy of a human who has lost faith in miracles. These ceramic vases embody the raw beauty of nature—textures reminiscent of stones, tree bark, and the sharp edges of cliffs, yet flowing like water. Each piece is a tribute to organic forms, captured and reimagined through unique hand-crafted techniques with clay bodies and glazes. Sculptural and tactile, these vases bring the essence of the natural world into interior spaces, merging artistry with the timeless aesthetics of nature. The ceramic wall panels capture the contrasts of existence—life and death, bloom and decay, beauty and distortion fused into one. Their rich textures tell silent stories, evoking the passage of time and the raw poetry of nature. Each piece is a tactile narrative, inviting touch and contemplation, where form and emotion merge in a sculptural dialogue with space.

Angels of our time. Angel of Beauty.

It's a long way home

Angels of our time. The Angel of Prudence.
